The Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS), which is part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, publishes the website. Content is by the ODS and other federal agencies.

Information includes a video introducing the ODS website; Fact Sheets for an extensive list of vitamins, minerals, herbs, botanicals and probiotics; Fact Sheets for specific purposes, such as athletic performance or weight loss; Fact Sheets for topics involving supplements in general; a Dictionary of dietary supplement terms; and a database of labels for dietary supplements sold in the U.S.
