This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures for the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Website and tells you about your privacy rights.

We collect the following personal data:
Category 1:  without registration and login on the Website:  your IP address and cookies based on Google Analytics
Category 2:  your name, e-mail address, and any other personal data that you have provided in our contact form on the website or in your e-mail which is sent directly to us
Category 3:  your name and e-mail address if you sign up for a newsletter on the Website
Category 4:  your name  and email address if you register and log in on the Website.
We do not collect individually identifiable information about pages visited or searches conducted on the Website.

2. How we collect data

HOTW may collect your personal data through the use of cookies (see below); when you provide your personal data to use the Website; and when you provide personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.

3. Contact forms; log in; cookies

When visitors leave comments on the Website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.  If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name and email address in cookies, which are small files that are placed on your computer or other device, containing the details of your browsing history on the Website. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.  Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.  
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
