NRC-PAD.org provides information about how people can make decisions about psychiatric treatment for a future date when they may be unable to do so.
The National Resource Center for Psychiatric Advance Directives (NRC-PAD) publishes the website and prepares its content. Who We Are lists an MD and two PhDs. Previously the website also listed an Advisory Board made up of medical and legal professionals.
Information includes Getting Started (with basic information about psychiatric advance directives (PADs)); State by State Info (answering a series of questions about PADs for each state and linking to state PAD forms); In the News (linking articles from other sources, including an article that describes restrictions on PADs that apply in some states; FAQs; videos instructing how to create a PAD; and a Glossary.
