DeprescribingNetwork.ca provides information to help identify and reduce medication that may be harmful or no longer needed.
The Canadian Medication Appropriateness and Deprescribing Network, a group of healthcare professionals, researchers and patients with relevant life experiences, publishes the website and prepares its content. Two Canadian government agencies fund the website.
Information is divided into Patient and Public resources (including brochures about specific medications and conditions) and Health Care Provider resources (including algorithms for deprescribing).
