USPreventiveServicesTaskForce.org is a database of recommendations and information about screening and other preventive health services.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) publishes the website and creates its content. The USPSTF is an independent panel of experts appointed by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The website’s database includes USPSTF evaluations of screenings, counseling and preventive medications that can be filtered for age, gender, pregnancy, category (such as Cancer or Cardiovascular Disorders) and grade (such as A and B Grade Recommendations). Information for Consumers and for Professionals leads to recommendations from both the USPSTF and other organizations.
