Tips for use:
– Use Find VA Locations to locate VA facilities and in-network community providers.
– In Access and Quality Information section, check how a VA medical center compares to similar facilities in the community where the center is located (better, worse or the same for measures of safety and effectiveness of care) and see average wait times for primary care and for many medical specialties.
– Veterans may be eligible for community care outside the VA system and can compare their VA facility to specific community facilities by clicking the website’s link to Medicare.gov Care Compare.
– The website includes a link to a Veterans Crisis Line.
